Chocolate Chiller

Chocolate cravings, been there (haven't we all?). This decedent smoothie will quench your thirst, nourish the cells of your body (cacao is a powerful antioxidant after all), & satisfy your desire for a treat that's smooth, rich & sweet (without over doing it). & while you can simply enjoy the base of the smoothie on its own, the toppings are what elevate it, turning it into a satisfying meal that can easily be poured into a mason jar for the perfect on the lunch or snack (this is what I like to call fast-food done right)!  


what you'll need:

  • 1 scoop chocolate peanut butter protein powder
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (I used nuttzo)
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen strawberries 
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ice

the steps:

  1. add all ingredients into a high speed blender & blend until smooth

toppers:

  • unsweetened ribboned coconut 
  • sprouted oat quinoa cacao granola
