Golden seed & hemp oat bake

what you'll need:

  • 1/3 cup rolled quick oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1 tbsp golden flax seed
  • 1/4 tsp green power blend (by Harmonic Arts)
  •  1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp raw cacao
  • maple syrup or honey, to taste (optional)
  • almond milk (optional)

the steps:

  1. In a small pot, add the oats, chia, & flax seed & cook based on the package directions for the oatmeal. Tip: you may have to add more water than instructed because the chia seed will absorb some of the cooking water.
  2. Once the oats are tender, remove from heat.
  3. Pour the cooked oats, chia, & flax into a bowl. 
  4. Sprinkle with hemp hearts, green power blend cinnamon, cacao, & honey.  
  5. Pour over some almond milk for added creaminess!
