cilantro avocado cream

Looking for a 2 minute dressing or another recipe featuring your favourite green fruit (i'm talking about avocado). Look not further! This cilantro avocado cream is wayyy to easy & delicious not to try!  It's smooth & fresh, it also contains bone broth, an amazing gut healing superfood! & although this recipe will last in the fridge for up to four days, there's no way you won't be adding it to every breakfast (hello avocado toast with a fried egg), lunch (zoodles anyone), and dinner (massaged kale salad). Ok ok, you may just want to make a double batch (speaking from experience)!

what you'll need:

  • 1 avocado

  • 1/8-1/4 cup bone broth (or vegetable broth)

  • handful of cilantro

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • pinch of chili flakes

  • juice of 1/2 lemon

  • salt & pepper, to taste

the steps:

  1. add all ingredients into a high speed blender (i used a magic bullet). Start with just an 1/8 cup of broth and slowly add more until you achieve a creamy but not runny consistency.

  2. store in a mason jar for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.

how to use:

  • top salads

  • use as a spread (on toast!)

  • use as a dip (chips & vegetable sticks)

  • toss zoodles

  • eat by the spoonful (this may be my favourite way to enjoy this avocado cream)
