Looking for a smoothie bowl to give you that matcha fix? Look no further than this THICKKKKK creamy dreamy matcha smoothie.

One of my favourite hacks when it comes to smoothies is sneak in some extra veg, trust me, no one will know! This particular smoothie features zucchini, a light and bright addition. I love that zucchini take such minimal prep because lets be honest, smoothies are fast food, and the ingredients should be quick and easy to prep as well!

To prepare the zucchini, simple rinse the zucchini, slice it into slices that are approximately 1/2 inch thick, place in a freezer safe bag (like stasher), pop in the freezer and BOOM, that’s it that’s all!

Now, get ready to. fall in love with this refreshing summer smoothie!

what you’ll need

  • 100g frozen banana

  • 75g frozen zucchini

  • 2 scoops collagen

  • 1/2 - 1 tbsp matcha

  • 3 mint leaves

  • 1 tsp spirulina, optional

  • 1 cup plant milk (for a thin smoothie consistency) OR 2 tbsp plant milk (for a thick smoothie bowl)

    the steps

    1. For your typical smoothie, add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

    2. For a smoothie bowl, start with only 2 tbsp of plant milk. Use a tamper to achieve a perfectly smooth thick consistency!
